"I reached out to 6 different turf companies, so feel free to skip the work if you'd like to go off of my review. I met with Shawn for a turf estimate on some areas of our backyard. He was very detail oriented with tons of residential & commercial background, and therefore was able to guide us on the best method of execution for our needs. In our case, we needed turf and some additional "cushion" to act as a play area in which we had a Tree Frog installed. The workmanship was excellent! I will go through my phone and add photos of the stages soon. I cannot speak highly enough of Shawn, his team, and the level of quality of both his product, advice, and installation. Price-wise, 4 of the companies were all on par, however, punctuality, professionalism, & execution is what set Go-Turf apart. "I'll start by saying that we chose not to have this company install our turf. Maybe they would have done a great job, but their customer service turned us off. When we first called, we were able to immediately schedule an appointment, and it appeared to be smooth sailing. During our consultation, I thought the salesperson who came was very rude. He was super dismissive. And, when we ended up going with another vendor later, I learned that this one had left out a lot of information. Not sure whether it's because they don't do certain steps that, according to my research, are necessary, or whether the salesperson felt the details were unnecessary to share (even though we were first-timers). Either way, his presentation was certainly not thorough. It was also a little awkward because he would only address my boyfriend, not me. Maybe he thinks women don't understand such complicated things as outdoor turf, haha. Who knows? Not a big deal at all, but maybe if he reads this, he'll notice he's coming across that way. Anyway, we asked for a quote, and what we received was not as detailed as I would have liked. I asked for clarification, and the salesperson argued with me. I wrote back and explained what information I needed and why. Rather than providing a customer the information she wanted, he continued to argue. It was as if my request for detail had offended him. After I asked a few times, they just stopped responding. I was certainly not going to follow up again after that kind of behavior on their end. It's a shame, because maybe their product would have been nice. If you go with them, hopefully you'll have a better experience than we did." - Aimee H.

"I initially had a great experience, but it quickly soured. After investing about $25k, Memorial Green Turf made mistakes in installing the turf, and then made additional mistakes when trying to correct the initial issues. For nearly 6 months, Mario gaslighted me as I would raise the issues, despite sending videos/pictures showing the turf was fraying and my yard was looking like a patchwork quilt with messy seams. Some spots were so bad my children would trip in the seam. Mario would send out his own people, who would agree there was an issue, and yet still would try to gaslight me. It wasn't until the manufacturers of the turf came to take a look did Mario finally admit to the issues and committed to fixing them. However, his resolution has left our yard with two different color turfs. I completely understand mistakes happen, but what really made me come back to edit my review is how poorly I was treated for months and months." - Chelsea P.

"A half star rating is more appropriate.  I suggest searching other turf companies and using them as my experience was not great. The half star goes to the initial response on getting a quote, it was very timely.  Lukas arrived on September 14 and estimated the job, which was just a rectangle and an isosceles right triangle which I measured at 310 sq ft. Lukas verbally quoted me 345 sq ft and said any areas that were low would be built up and our existing drains would be raised to be level with the new turf.  A border would be placed around the turf and our old existing turf would be brushed/rolled to spruce it up and the existing sprinkler heads would remain intact since it would be good to spray the turf occasionally.. all from Lukas. I received quotes from other companies but chose Texans Turf because Lukas said they could start in one week and the actual estimate I received in an email was 325 sq ft, which I had no problem with...." - Steven S.
