"If I could give a score less than zero I would. David Baxter came out to the house and provided an estimate which was based on a retainer for design. I was like ok these guys seems legit so signed the contract. Once signed and the money cleared Baxter informs me that the first design consultation will be in 13 weeks. Ok that wasn’t on the fine print or said verbally. Anyway designs come through at least 16 weeks later and IMO they are average at best so we do a rounds of edits. Finally we lock on a design and I say to Baxter - ok when can you fit me in - he provides a timeline of next earliest availability - 6-7 months later. I gave up. They cashed my retainer and I never heard from them again. My watch out for others is to ensure you have an in writing commitment to all aspects regarding dates and timing as they are not transparent on that front." - A.B.

However they both left the company and Jeff (the owner) replaced them with new folks who did shoddy work. One day these new folks removed all of my ferns without asking. These ferns were beautiful and gave us privacy in our basement and it was shocking and upsetting that they were gone. I emailed Jeff to let him know about the problem, and his response was to blame me for being upset because he said other customers consider the ferns weeds and want them removed. I found this response to be pretty unacceptable - they had removed our plants without asking and had opened the view into our basement. The only challenge we experienced was that Dio had committed to finishing the last step of our project (installing a drip line) the next week, following his request to be paid in full for his work. This was admittedly our mistake paying prior to completion, as it took him five weeks to follow through and only after my calling him from a different number, texting and leaving multiple voicemails.
