Furthermore, the services have been recognized with numerous awards throughout the years.

Positive Client Review:

"Did beautiful work on my yard. the team is great at communication - gets responses within 48 hours and 12 - 24 hours when things are rolling. They set great expectations and time schedules. When my ideas were just alright, they made better suggestions to make my project better. The team worked quickly and efficiently and got my project done early. Will hit them up again and refer them." - Emily L.

Negative Client Review:

"This company is a disaster. They are disorganized and have horrible communication. It is impossible to talk to anyone, especially when there is a problem with the project. The workers and project managers aren't communicating at all with whoever runs it, so ongoing miscommunications result in project delays and incomplete projects. I feel sad leaving this review, since the workers do good work-- but not worth the ongoing hassle to try and get them to adhere to their agreements and complete a project. Avoid. There are way too many great companies in the area to have to deal with their garbage." - Princess P.

"We had a wonderful experience with Pacifica from start to finish on our full property makeover. The design team achieved our goals and importantly - communicated clearly and timely about how certain choices would affect the budget. George and the landscaping team were incredibly friendly and helpful onsite, always leaving things clean. The end product looks fantastic. We, our friends, and our neighbors all enjoy the dramatic improvements the Pacifica team made." - Scott N.

Negative Client Review:

"If I could give a score less than zero I would. David Baxter came out to the house and provided an estimate which was based on a retainer for design. I was like ok these guys seems legit so signed the contract. Once signed and the money cleared Baxter informs me that the first design consultation will be in 13 weeks. Ok that wasn’t on the fine print or said verbally. Anyway designs come through at least 16 weeks later and IMO they are average at best so we do a rounds of edits. Finally we lock on a design and I say to Baxter - ok when can you fit me in - he provides a timeline of next earliest availability - 6-7 months later. I gave up. They cashed my retainer and I never heard from them again. My watch out for others is to ensure you have an in writing commitment to all aspects regarding dates and timing as they are not transparent on that front." - A.B.

"Very happy customer alert!!! We recently used JS Landscape to install turf in our front/side yard area and could not be more satisfied. From start to finish Carlos was great to work with. His knowledge of the product/process and willingness to help us get exactly what we wanted made a great experience. The transformation is amazing! I would highly recommend Carlos and his team." - Joey S.

Negative Client Review:

"JS originally did our irrigation service and we were happy with it for the first summer. However, the second summer we were having issues and I tried to get them to come look at the problem and figure out what work needed to be done to fix it. I called multiple times, sent texts, emails and also messaged through the website system. After 3 weeks of trying to reach them numerous times, I got no response. I finally reached out to another company who we paid $500 to fix the problem. We were told it was initially installed poorly which lead to a crack in the pipe." - Owen B.

Positive Client Review:

"I hired them to tear out the weedy lawn in our yard and install new sod. At the same time, they revived my entire irrigation system that had fallen into disrepair. It was installed in January, and I waited 3 months to write the review to see how things turned out. Conclusion: it all turned out great! The grass has come in nicely, and the irrigation system is wonderful. The high quality of the work by the team was always clear to me; the only problem we had was a little trouble with communication on when exactly they would be showing up at the house to work, surprising us a couple of times, but we gave them feedback about that and they took the feedback well and improved immediately." - Greg B.

Negative Client Review:

"Do not use this service. We used to love our initial gardeners from Seattle Sustainable - they did a great job and were friendly. However they both left the company and Jeff (the owner) replaced them with new folks who did shoddy work. One day these new folks removed all of my ferns without asking. These ferns were beautiful and gave us privacy in our basement and it was shocking and upsetting that they were gone. I emailed Jeff to let him know about the problem, and his response was to blame me for being upset because he said other customers consider the ferns weeds and want them removed. I found this response to be pretty unacceptable - they had removed our plants without asking and had opened the view into our basement. An owner who cares about his customers would have tried to find a solution, but Jeff insisted his team was right." - Lauren H.

Seattle Pro Turf

Seattle Pro Turf

Years in Business: Established in 2014.

Yelp Rating: 3.5 stars

Google Rating: 4 stars

Their comprehensive knowledge of area weather conditions means that no matter what your soil and drainage situation is, the expert team can pick the ideal array of plants and trees for you.

Positive Client Review:

"Dio and his team did a beautiful job on our front yard. They did not cut corners on the project, were extremely detailed and worked unbelievably quickly to complete most of a large project in only two days. In fact, we've had multiple people already mistake our turf for real grass which says something! His quote was reasonable and he is a lovely, kind man. The only challenge we experienced was that Dio had committed to finishing the last step of our project (installing a drip line) the next week, following his request to be paid in full for his work. This was admittedly our mistake paying prior to completion, as it took him five weeks to follow through and only after my calling him from a different number, texting and leaving multiple voicemails. Despite difficulty with timely communication and follow through, we are very happy with the result and quality of Dio's work and would absolutely recommend him to others." - Erin B.

Negative Client Review:

"Don't waste your money, don't waste your time. This guy is very positive to give you a quote and signed the agreement with 50% down payment then he will never answer your phone or never showed up for scheduling. Luckily he will show up whenever he wants and give you a big surprise!!! He changed 3yard river rocks and only delivered one yard, he promised will deliver the rest next week but never happened. Now he is totally disappeared...." - Kevin H.

Austin's goal is for each project to be completed with the highest standards possible that clients ought to expect.

Positive Client Review:

"Keeping our yard healthy and looking nice has been a challenge with our crazy weather, the not so healthy soil in our area and our 3 large dogs. I made the call to Austin at Synthetic Turf Solutions to see if this might be the right solution for us and I am so happy that I did! The quote we received was easy to understand and listed out every aspect of the project. When it came to install we actually added a couple things to make our yard complete, including a new retaining wall that really makes the yard look finished and functional. We have had our turf for a couple months and I am so happy with it. It looks beautiful, all the time! The dogs love playing a sleeping on it!" - Corrine P.

How to Choose an Artificial Grass Installer in Seattle

Choosing the right artificial grass installer in Seattle is different from choosing a turf company in a dry climate. Seattle yards often deal with heavy rain, shaded areas, moss, soft soil, poor drainage, and muddy pet areas. A good turf installation company should understand how to build a base that drains properly, stays stable through wet seasons, and keeps the surface clean and usable year-round.

Before hiring an artificial turf contractor, ask about the base preparation, drainage system, turf backing, infill options, and warranty. The lowest price is not always the best choice if the installer skips excavation, uses poor-quality base rock, or installs turf without proper compaction. In Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Redmond, Kirkland, Shoreline, and surrounding areas, drainage should be one of the most important parts of the project.

Artificial grass is commonly used in Seattle for pet turf, backyard lawns, side yards, playgrounds, putting greens, rooftop spaces, and small urban yards where natural grass struggles to grow. Homeowners with dogs often choose synthetic turf because it helps reduce mud, paw prints, and worn-out lawn areas. Families may prefer artificial grass because it creates a cleaner outdoor space for kids to play, even after rainy weather.

Putting green installation is another popular option in the Seattle area. A backyard putting green can be designed for simple practice, family entertainment, or a more advanced short-game area with multiple cups, fringe turf, slopes, and chipping zones. The best putting green installers will help you choose the right speed, layout, cup placement, and surrounding turf so the green looks natural and plays correctly.

When comparing Seattle artificial grass companies, look beyond star ratings. Read both positive and negative reviews, check photos of completed projects, and ask whether the company has experience with projects similar to yours. A contractor who is great at landscaping may not always be the best choice for pet turf or putting greens. The right installer should be able to explain the turf system, not just give you a square-foot price.

If you are planning to install artificial grass in Seattle, it is smart to get more than one quote. Compare the materials, installation method, project timeline, warranty, and what is included in the price. A detailed quote should explain excavation, base preparation, weed barrier, turf type, seams, edging, infill, cleanup, and any optional upgrades. This helps you avoid surprises and makes it easier to choose the best artificial turf installer for your project.

What type of artificial grass works best in Seattle?

The best artificial grass for Seattle should have strong drainage, durable backing, and a turf blade structure that can handle rain, shade, pets, and frequent use. For dog areas, pet turf with antimicrobial infill and proper drainage is usually a better choice than basic landscape turf.

Is artificial grass good for rainy Seattle weather?

Yes, artificial grass can work well in Seattle when it is installed with the right base and drainage system. Poor installation can trap water, create odors, or make the surface uneven, so the base preparation is just as important as the turf product.

How much does pet turf cost in Seattle?

Pet turf installation in Seattle usually costs more than basic lawn turf because it may require better drainage, odor-control infill, stronger materials, and more detailed base preparation. The final cost depends on access, yard size, demolition, drainage needs, and the turf system selected. On average, add $4 per sq.ft. for quality pet turf in Seattle.

Should I hire a landscaper or a turf specialist?

For simple lawn replacement, some landscape companies can do the work well. For pet turf, putting greens, rooftops, playgrounds, or drainage-heavy yards, it is usually better to hire a company with specific artificial grass installation experience.
